Anchors Ahoy!

I finally finished The Purl Bee anchor hat for my coworker's baby. Hopefully the hat will fit, if only for this season. I wanted to complete it sooner, but didn't want to work on it when I was sick for fear of putting germs on it. I also hit a milestone with this pattern. It is the first time I made a pompom and also the first time I used the duplicate stitch needed for the anchor pattern.

Slowly making my way through this book. Had a difficult and slow start due to the many unfamiliar names, but it's becoming more interesting as I get to know the characters better. Just started to draw out genealogical charts as I'm reading so that I can keep track of everyone's relationships.
